Our position is clear. Croydon has tens of empty office blocks, why does Croydon Council want to build yet another at a staggering cost of £450million.

A Labour Croydon Council will cancel this project and invest in better public services, such as recycling and public swimming pools.

	£450million spend on a new Luxury HQ, a scheme insisted upon by Croydon Conservatives when they won control of Croydon Council in 2006
	The old HQ - £2million for new reception and £10million on refurbishment. This amount has been spent on the current HQ in recent years. The new reception only opened in 2009. Yet Croydon Tories are planning to knock it all down.
