Ken launches Mayoral bid in Croydon

Today, Ken Livingstone came to Croydon to launch his bid to be Labour's nominee for Mayor of London. He joined the Croydon Labour Party recruiting members to the party. Since the General Election over 100 Croydon residents have joined the Labour Party. Over 18,000 have joined the party nationwide.

Ken got off at the George Street tram stop and was greeted by local Labour activists before meeting shoppers in Allders of Croydon. His visit took him through Allders and along North End to West Croydon Station.
