The news from the Croydon Conservative run Council is not good.

Labour has now launched a 'fair parking campaign' to support local shops and businesses. This is a green agenda. If we encourage the use of local shops we can encourage everyone to shop locally. To be able to shop locally you need fair parking policies that do not target motorists. Those without cars benefit from car drivers using local shops too. This helps everyone.

The Tory Council refuse to accept this and instead keep putting charges up.
